  Jamie Lubin:

She came from a family of fine artists. Always labeled "the crafty one", Jamie has done just about every craft known to man all of her life. From crocheting, knitting, tatting, cross stitch, French beaded flowers, macrame, pottery... it just goes on and on. About fifteen years ago, when all of her friends began having babies, Jamie started the long process of knitting baby sweaters as gifts. After a couple of years, and numerous sweaters, Jamie discovered the ease of stamping through her best friend Jennifer. So, instead of knitting she would make bundles of thank you cards for her shower gifts. This started her love of stamping and scrapbooking.

When Creative Gatherings opened its doors over six years ago, Jamie signed up for their first class and was totally hooked. Five years of taking almost every class available, she was asked to start teaching last year. Jamie has put all of her craft experiences together to help create some of the most exciting card and scrapbooking classes.

 

  Melissa Miller:  

Just call me the Craft Queen!! I love to do anything craft related from beading jewelry, knitting, cake decorating, needle punce, painting, etc. but I ESPECIALLY love to rubber stamp and scrapbook. I began stamping over 10 years ago when I joined the Stampin' Up! family and I have been scrapbooking since I was a teenager. Who knew then that my love of stickers and paper would turn into a life long hobby?? You can always find my Nikon camera strapped around my neck taking pictures of everything imaginable!!

I am the family photographer and just love to put my pictures together with all of the awesome scrapbook products on  the market. A scrapbook product is never out of my reach.. I will go to any length to get what I need!!! Now that's dedication or should I say... ADDICTION!

 

 

Kathy Rhoades:

Wife, daughter, mema, stepmom, sister, aunt and friend. Loves altered/aged look, being retired, color, creating, crops, earthtones, her computer, cats, the ocean, quotations, reading, taking photos, texture. She struggles with TIME (that black and narrow isthmus between two eternities). Is running late a form of exercise???

 

 Diane Roule:

About 4 years ago Diane wanted to do something special for her oldest granddaughter who was turning 16. (She has 5 granddaughters).  After seeing an album a friend of hers had made, she jumped right in and was immediately addicted!  She started teaching on a dare ; deciding that she wanted to do something different from layouts – she created her first themed album – “Frosty the Snowman.”  The rest is history.  Diane loves shading with inks and chalks, foam tape and paper piecing. 

Diane commuted to NYC for fourteen years working as a Marketing Coordinator for the Pension/Investment division of am insurance company, “retiring last year.”  She has always loved creating and is delighted that she has found an outlet for her creativity at Creative Gatherings. 

She lives in Monroe with her wonderful husband (who is totally supportive of her habit) and her biggest fan.

 

 

  Jacquelyn Shenise:

Author of "Easy Cards For All Occasions", has been practicing arts and crafts since childhood. An artist, writer and freelance designer, she holds a BA in Fine Arts and an MA in Creative Writing and has been teaching craft classes for more than 20 years. Her artwork has been regularly featured in Rubber Stamper and Rubber Stamp Madness and she has also written several featured articles for national craft magazines. Jacquelyn is currently a member of the Design Team here at Creative Gatherings, teaching stamping, mixed media, distressed and altered projects.
